I started training with Diana and Felicia of Base Body Babes a couple of years before I turned 40 as I was worried about loosing bone density. Since then I have never looked back. BBB have brought a fresh perspective to my ideas about training and feeling strong in my body. The programs they create have helped me transform the shape of my body and continuously progress without bulking up. As a mother of four who’s pretty time poor I appreciate being able to make my training schedule fit around the daily demands of work and family. Training with the BBB’s has recreated my body into a healthier, leaner shape and importantly, rehabilitated an old lower back injury which has always bothered me. I was very tentative when I first started my program with the Base Body Babes because I was so stuck into my old training habits. They not only changed my routine, but entirely reconstructed my approach to training. Little did I know that this re-start was exactly what I needed to push my training to the next level. After the first phase of my program I was completely hooked. I had adopted an entirely new philosophy of what it means to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle whilst at the same time getting unbelievably STRONG! Diana doesn’t just write my programs and tailor them to my personal goals, but she coaches me. Although we live in different cities I never feel out of touch with her about my progress, my training and 'the next step’.
When I first started my training I could squat 50kg for 1 rep. 6 months with her and I hit a whopping 90kg squat, and I’m only just getting started. I truly feel like an athlete because I train like one. It’s this combination of incredibly well crafted training programs and consistent support that makes Diana and Felicia the true master trainers. I love to move heavy weights, I enjoy learning new ways to use my body and I fully embrace the idea of building a body that you can maintain and improve all year round. There really are no words to describe the impact you have had on my life. You are not simply a trainer; you are a movement towards a greater cause – creating beautiful bodies through mental and physical strength and healthy eating. The Base Body Movement to me encompasses all of the ‘B’ words you make me feel after every training session: Balanced, Bold, Beautiful, Brave and Built strong to combat whatever life throws my way. You thank us for the endless love and support we have given you, but none of the lives (and bodies) you have changed would be a reality if it wasn’t for the love, support, education and motivation you have used to inspire each and every one of your Babes to make a difference. I’m sure I speak for all Babes when I say that the results we see in ourselves is a direct reflection of the hard work we put in together. Thank you for pushing me beyond my limits…
For making me walk like a robot for a couple of days after a squat session, for the times I tried to avoid laughing because my stomach muscles were in pain, for the tears you made me cry during those walking weighted lunges, for the sweat I poured during my last chin up session, for the burn, burn, burn BURN in my muscles because you have made me STRONG in EVERY WAY!
Base Body Babes, you rock my world and I hope and pray each day that we continue to grow together.

I love to train. I love to see what my body is capable of. I’ve found results with all these different types of training but have always loved lifting heavy weights. But there came a time where I hit a plateau and struggled. Months would pass and I would never hit a PB and I began to hate my body image. Slowly but surely I lost motivation and gave up. I saw Base Body Babes on Instagram and instantly fell in love. Felicia and Diana represent everything to do with health and fitness in the most humble way. They teach girls how to embrace their body and train in ways to keep their feminine shape but also building lean muscle to make us just as strong as the guys. I’ve trained with Diana for about 6 months now and the results speak for themselves. Along with their training program I followed their nutritional advice and I’ve lost cm’s and cm’s around my whole body, whilst building some lean muscle. My main goal was always strength. I’ve hit a new PB every month which shows how effectively their programming works, the fat loss is just a bonus

At the age of 42, married for 17 years and with 4 children, I finally decided it was time to do something for myself. I had known Diana for many years as she had taught my children. So when I bumped into her and she told me how she and Felicia had stated their fitness brand and held bootcamps, I knew that this was the sign I needed that it was now 'my time’. I started with Fit Chicks In Training (now Base Body Babes) and never looked back. A couple days ago I completed week 2 of my first program.  I am really enjoying it SO much. The whole entire thing is perfect - from your dropbox technique videos which I have watched numerous times, to my program design and duration (its great - I can get up at 6 am and be all done by 7 am when I daughters awake). I am a long time early morning exerciser and this program fits seamlessly into my life - and I love the challenge the weights presents - Andrea

I'm only on the second week and absolutely love it! I look forward to getting to the gym everyday after work to do this program. I've tried other programs in conjunction with seeing a trainer and this already is better than anything I have tried! I like the integration of movement with weights opposed to what I've been doing which is mainly stationary weight training (lots of sitting on weight machines) - Clare
