Happy Easter babes! We hope you had a beautiful long weekend. Here is a delicious, detoxifying green smoothie to help your gut feel better after a weekend full of overindulging (which is totally ok and not a bad thing, we all enjoyed eating with our family and friends, so don't feel guilty about eating that extra chocolate).
We are loving the new Bare Blends Vegan Protein, it feels so light on our tummies and is a great protein source if you can't have whey protein. The apple, lime and spinach work together to boost the body’s natural ability to flush out toxins and reduce inflammation plus the extra greens (Kale, Chlorophyll and the Bare Greens) will give you a great boost of antioxidants. Parsley is a great diuretic to help you beat bloat and we love coconut water for that bit of natural sweetness and to boost electrolytes and keep you hydrated.
Blend the following ingredients in a blender:
1 Scoop Bare Blends Vanilla and Coconut Protein
1 tsp Bare Blends Bare Greens
1 frozen banana
1 handful chopped kale
1 handful baby spinach
1 small handful chopped parsley
1 squeeze fresh lime juice
1 tbs chlorophyll
1 cup coconut water
Pour into bowl or cup and top with your fave crunchy ingredients for texture! Serves 2.
