Feeling stressed? We feel you, so are we!
This year in general has been an absolute whirlwind for us and we are always looking for ways to help us deal with our stress and very hectic lives. We thought we would start writing about some of the more serious issues we deal with on a day to day basis with you all, so you can see that our life isn't as easy breezy as it looks on our Instagram page for example.
We will start by saying that we are definitely very very very normal chicks, we can get seriously moody and have our crappy days when we don't feel so great, both mentally and physically. We live amazing lives and we feel so blessed to be doing what we do, but with this life comes a whole lot of stress and pressure. We accept it all and love most of it, but there are definitely moments when we just go whoa, we are exhausted, how will we keep up! But we do! Thankfully we have each other to fall back on and our amazing family is so supportive.
This week and the last few weeks actually, our biggest issue has been dealing with stress. We are working on managing our workload and stress levels from now on and not taking our stress out on the people who care about us most. As we all know stress is not so great on the body or mind and it has been hard to stay positive all the time. There have been many tears and a few arguments, but nothing we couldn't overcome quickly. We are sisters and we fight all the time like any normal siblings. Our arguments never last long though, we always make a point to never hold grudges or to go to sleep angry with our family. Although sometimes you just want to be angry or frustrated, we have learnt that you always feel better in life when your loved ones are happy and there is peace amongst your family and friends. So if there is one thing that our mum taught us that we can share with you is "never go to bed angry and always make up with your loved ones before you go to sleep at night".
This week we have been getting organised for the start of construction for our new gym that we are opening with Sebastian, Felicia's husband. We knew it would be a challenge to get organised, but wow, we never thought it would be this difficult. If it's not the solicitor your dealing with, it's the architect, the builder, the electrician, the plumber, the agents, omg the list goes on. It is never ending and it is a whole other world. It has been super stressful getting to this point, but hopefully from tomorrow when the construction actually starts, it will be more enjoyable and a little less stressful. We can't wait for the gym to open, but anyone who has ever renovated or built a home or business would know it's not an easy road, but we know it will all be worth it in the end.
Does anyone else struggle with controlling their stress levels? If there is anything you want to chat about or hear about from us, please comment below and let us know so we can help you as best as we possibly can through our blog posts. As always we are here for you.
Thanks for listening.
Lots of Love,
F & D xx
